Message from the Head of Academy

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit. Aristotle

Dear Parents In two years' time Jaffery Academy transitioned from Necta syllabus to Cambridge curriculum from year8 to year13 it is Cambridge curriculum. A world class curriculum, which simply means a student from Jaffery Arusha, is on par with any other Institution in the world with Cambridge curriculum.

The very first batch which appeared for the international examination performed well and brought laurels to the Institution.

The Second Batch's performance was also excellent and it established 'Jaffery Academy' as the centre of excellence and dispelled the doubts from the minds of people.

The transition involved plenty of reorganization and also provision of various academic facilities. The Board took a bold step in equipping Jaffery Academy with the Cambridge curriculum Books, Laboratory apparatus and also provision of Projectors and Laptops in all the classrooms for efficient and interesting delivery of lessons by the teachers.

The transition has resulted in fruition of achieving excellence in academic performances of its students. The change in the curriculum has also brought in a change in the attitude and expression of the students. As the curriculum lays emphasis on Understanding, Analysis, Synthesis and Evaluation, it has ignited a spark in the minds of the students, which has augured well for the students, because education is not just acquisition of knowledge but it is the application of knowledge which is more important and the very purpose of education. 21st Century is an era of new challenges and it seeks a new mind set, attitude and skills and above all inspiration, without inspiration the best powers of the mind remain dormant. There is a fuel in us which needs to be ignited with sparks to help us in approaching and seeking solutions for the twisted problems and challenges of the 21st century. Many of the problems need out of the box solutions, the traditional thinking or the traditional methods of education will definitely not help in seeking them.

Knowing is not enough; we must apply.
Willing is not enough; we must do.
Yours sincerely
